Intertek, a provider of quality and safety solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Germany-based Photovoltaik Institut Berlin AG under which the institute will test photovoltaic modules and related products in Germany on behalf of Intertek.
Testing will occur before Intertek's issuing its ETL Mark for North American market access. According to Intertek and the Photovoltaik Institut Berlin, this partnership increases service and delivery capabilities in the largest solar energy market in Europe. It strategically bridges Intertek's global network of energy and solar labs from the Asia Pacific to the U.S.
