The International Photovoltaic Equipment Association (IPVEA) has launched PV Matrix, an online application designed to illustrate and link the complete PV value chain by separating solar technology into five main segments: silicon, thin film, organic PV, research and development, and installation and power generation.
Each of the five segments expands to show categories within that technology and simplifies the process of finding specific information and identifying key suppliers, according to IPVEA. The PV Matrix provides the latest data and information on PV industry suppliers, including company overviews and in-depth product information supported by images, videos, data sheets, white papers and brochures.
Because PV producers, project developers, investors and other organizations can access the online tool, a major benefit for registered companies is enhanced sales opportunities and leads, IPVEA adds. Companies can register themselves to appear in the application.
