Tyco Thermal Controls has introduced the Isopad Radiant Heater, a heating product for large PV cells.
With a recent factory expansion, Isopad, a specialty provider of customized heating solutions and a Tyco Thermal Controls brand, now has the capacity to produce the largest heating plates for PV cells, the company adds.
The heater is created by embedding mineral-insulated heating cable into panels onto which the substrate is positioned. The cable delivers reliable, uniform heat under vacuum for deposition and lamination processes.
