Isovoltaic AG, an Austria-based producer of PV backsheets, has formed a subsidiary to focus on the Chinese solar market.
The subsidiary, called Changzhou Isovoltaic Composite Materials Co. Ltd., will be tasked with maintaining customer contact and developing a product service network in China. Because the majority of PV modules are currently produced in Asia, establishing a presence in China is an important step for developing international activities in the global PV market, the company says.
