Isra Surface Vision, part of the international Isra Vision Group, has released a new optical in-line inspection system for solar glass. The fully automated system detects all defects and differentiation in glass, including both open and closed bubbles and defects that were previously considered invisible, the company says.
The new system includes a new intelligent LED illumination unit. With a single camera or bank of cameras, a theoretically unlimited number of differently illuminated views can be generated, according to the company. The acquired, sampled information is used by the inspection software to achieve reliable defect classification, Isra Surface Vision adds.
