JA Solar Holdings Co. Ltd. is supplying 38.6 MW of solar modules for the Simon Solar Farm near Atlanta. Silicon Ranch Corp. is the project developer, and Phoenix Solar is the engineering, procurement and construction services provider.
Work on the 161-acre ground-mounted facility is expected to be finished by the end of the year. Atlanta-based utility Georgia Power will buy the project's electricity output under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Silicon Ranch.
