JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. has completed delivery of 5 MW of solar modules to Sunkon Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Ghespur, India, for a photovoltaic project.
According to JinkoSolar, the project features 17,886 of its polycrystalline modules and is expected to produce over 8 GWh of electricity per year. The company says India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has introduced aggressive and favorable policies to spur the development of solar energy in the country.
