JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. has opened a solar module factory in Cape Town, South Africa. The factory has an annual production capacity of 120 MW.
JinkoSolar invested a total of approximately $7.5 million in the factory, which will support the company's pipeline of projects in the region. Kangping Chen, JinkoSolar's CEO, says the new factory will also offer local content to fulfill future projects.
