JinkoSolar says its polycrystalline modules have passed a potential induced degradation (PID) test at 85 degrees Celsius and 85% relative humidity. The milestone follows the modules' passage of a PID test at 65 degrees Celsius earlier this month.
According to the company, this achievement has made JinkoSolar the first company that has passed both forward- and reverse-bias voltage tests under 85 degrees Celsius and 85% relative humidity. The company has been awarded an Anti-PID certificate by TUV-SUD.
