JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. has supplied 25.8 MW of solar PV modules for a solar park in India. The company says the facility, located in the village of Mandrup in the state of Maharashtra, is the first such private solar park in the country. Enrich Energy Pvt. Ltd. is the developer.
According to Enrich Energy, Maharashtra has the best irradiation characteristics in India, recommending it as a promising host for a PV plant. Power generated from the project will be fed to the 132 kV Mandrup substation.
