JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. says it will supply 50 MW of solar photovoltaic panels to Tegnatia, a renewable energy developer in Turkey.
According to the agreements signed by both parties at the beginning of the year, the panels will be delivered in several shipments bound for solar projects across Turkey.
Engineering, procurement and construction services provider Tegnatia is as a joint venture between Turkey's T Dinamik and Greece's Egnatia Group. Egnatia Group alone has over 300 MW of solar installations in Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and the U.K.
"We look forward to identifying and engaging similarly strategic opportunities in Turkey in the coming months to continuously increase our market share," says Frank Niendorf, JinkoSolar's European sales director.
