Johnson Controls, a provider of products, services and solutions for energy efficiency, and Germany-based concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) systems supplier Concentrix Solar GmbH, a subsidiary of the Soitec Group (Euronext Paris), have formed a global alliance.
Under this partnership, Johnson Controls will build, operate, maintain and provide life-cycle support of solar installations using Concentrix CPV technology. According to the companies, the partnership enables Johnson Controls and Concentrix Solar to better identify and respond to global commercial opportunities for the development, financing and construction of utility-scale solar installations.
This formal alliance follows a Concentrix announcement in July of its launch of a U.S.-based subsidiary to support the increased demand for PV solutions throughout North America.
