Juhl Wind Inc. has created a subsidiary called Juhl Renewable Energy Systems Inc. (JRES) that is designed to meet the market needs for smaller-scale wind and solar systems business.
JRES is focused on the sales and installation of Juhl's on-site renewable energy systems – including Solarbank, an on-site solar system; Powerbank, a backup power system; and its newly designed Juhl Windharvester, a medium-scale wind turbine.
JRES will handle all aspects of project development, including design, sales, financing and service. The company plans to provide several financing structures, including its ongoing system ownership at customer sites.
