Renewable energy project developer the juwi-Group has established a subsidiary in India called juwi India Renewable Energies Pvt. Ltd. The subsidiary will be headquartered in Bangalore.
Beginning in 2011, juwi India Renewable Energies Pvt. Ltd. will develop solar power facilities in India and the surrounding regions. Photovoltaic projects with a total capacity in excess of 100 MW are scheduled to be installed in the coming years, the company says.
Initially, the company will serve as a turnkey provider, acting as the general contractor for the design, engineering and construction of free-field and rooftop solar installations.
