KACO new energy has formed a U.S. manufacturing partnership with Sanmina-SCI Corp. under which Sanmina-SCI will provide end-to-end manufacturing services for KACO's blueplanet 02xi inverter series. The agreement will enable KACO to reduce delivery times and lower costs, the company says.
The first complete line of blueplanet inverters with ‘made in the United States’ nameplates rolled out of Sanmina-SCI's San Jose, Calif., facility in the spring.
‘As KACO grows in the U.S. market, the company needed to make sure that neither price nor lack of inventory would be a barrier for U.S. distributors,’ says Vince Lucia, KACO's vice president of operations.
