Bedminster, N.J-based KDC Solar LLC, through its wholly owned subsidiary KDC Solar ACF, has begun commercial operation of a 2.2 MW PV ground-mounted, single-axis tracker solar system at the Atlantic Coast Freezers LLC property in Vineland, N.J.
The installation is expected to generate approximately 3.4 GWh of solar electricity annually and supply 100% of the electric power needs for the Atlantic Coast Freezers warehouse site, which is owned by J&J Real Estate Associates LLC. The facility features 4.1 million cubic feet of refrigeration.
