KIOTO Clear Energy, the parent company of Austria-based solar thermal collector manufacturer GREENoneTEC, has purchased a new laser welding machine for use during production.
The $1.5 million investment will allow KIOTO to produce Al/Cu or Cu/Cu absorbers with a highly selective coated full surface, the company says. The absorbers are available in sizes commonly used in the U.S.
