Komax Solar says it has received two multi-million-dollar orders for module production equipment, one in Europe and one in China.
The European customer is currently expanding its capacity, both by upgrading the existing installed base and installing additional equipment. Komax says its Turbo upgrade increases the productivity of the existing Komax X2 stringers by about 25%. The newly installed Komax X2 Turbo stringers offer a productivity of 1,500 cells per hour.
In China, the customer is expanding the capacity at its factory by installing X2 Turbo stringers.
