Kyocera Installs 1.16 MW PV Project In New Jersey

Kyocera Solar Inc., NJ Solar Power LLC and Solar Power Partners Inc. have completed a 1.16 MW PV energy system at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington, N.J.

Designed and installed by NJ Solar Power, the photovoltaic system consists of 5,656 Kyocera KD205 modules. The panels are ground-mounted in a single, contiguous design utilizing Unirac structures and four PV Powered PVP 260-480 inverters.

The system is estimated to have a yearly power production of 1.5 GWh. A power purchase agreement, provided by Solar Power Partners (using institutional financing and solar renewable energy certificates), will allow the property to purchase the electricity generated without buying the installation outright.
