Japan-based Kyocera Solar Corp. (KSC) and Mitsui & Co. Ltd. have agreed to collaborate on the operation of the 19.6 MW SoftBank Izumiotsu solar park under construction by SB Energy Corp. in Osaka Prefecture.
The SoftBank Izumiotsu solar park will incorporate 80,000 Kyocera solar modules and is expected to generate approximately 20.68 GWh of electricity each year. The three partners have formed Izumiotsu Solar Park Corp. to manage the project, which is scheduled to go online in July of next year.
