Kyocera Solar Inc. has opened a new solar products warehouse in Cherry Hill, N.J., in order to augment its distribution points in Scottsdale, Ariz., and San Diego.

According to Kyocera, the new warehouse will facilitate service to the company's East Coast customers.

‘Kyocera's newest warehouse location enables us to significantly reduce shipping costs for solar modules to our growing list of East Coast solar customers,’ explains Chris Brown, eastern regional sales manager for Kyocera Solar. ‘In addition to reducing costs, we now offer 24-hour shipping to major markets in the eastern corridor.’

The company partnered with NFI – an international provider of logistics, warehousing and distribution services – for the new warehouse location. Kyocera began shipping products from the New Jersey facility in late June.
