Kyocera Corp. has supplied approximately 6 MW of the company's multicrystalline silicon solar modules for a large-scale solar power plant near Turin, Italy.
The large-scale solar plant in Cigliano, with an output of approximately 6 MW, is the largest installation in Italy to have been equipped with Kyocera solar modules, the company says. In total, 13,920 215 W modules (KD215GH-2PU) and 12,900 235 W modules (KD235GH-2PU) were used for the plant, which is operated by the Italian company ENERMILL Energie Rinnovabili SRL.
