Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. has supplied 15 MW of its YGE series photovoltaic modules for the Longyangxia Dam hybrid hydroelectric and solar power project in Qinghai Province, China.
With a total capacity of 320 MW, the project, billed as the largest hydro-PV hybrid power project in the world, has been connected to China's electricity grid. Construction on the PV portion began in March.
