LDK Solar Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and PV products, says it has entered into a multiyear wafer and polysilicon supply contract with Shanxi Lu'an Photovoltaic Technology Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Lu'an Group.
Under terms of the contract, LDK Solar will provide 120 MW of solar wafers beginning in January 2011 and continuing through December 2012, as well as 2,000 metric tons of polysilicon, beginning in January 2011 and continuing through February 2013.
