National homebuilder Lennar has signed a supply agreement with Westinghouse Solar Inc., a system designer, for the delivery of solar power systems on new homes.
Under the terms of the agreement, Westinghouse Solar will supply its solar systems to Lennar for certain new home communities as a part of the latter company's ‘Everything's Included’ program. Lennar has begun the implementation of this relationship in communities in Texas.
‘Rooftop solar power, when combined with other energy-efficient features, is the best way to maximize home energy efficiency,’ says Barry Cinnamon, CEO of Westinghouse Solar. ‘By providing a Westinghouse Solar power system as a standard feature of its new homes, Lennar makes it easy for homebuyers to save on energy for decades to come.’
