LG Electronics has unveiled its MONO X ACe solar module, which will launch in the U.S. this fall.
The LG MONO X ACe builds on the technology of the LG MonoX NeON DC series. According to the company, the new 305 W, 60-cell, alternating-current (AC) solar module features an ‘all in one’ design with an integrated micro-inverter. In addition, LG says a Web-based monitoring solution allows users to check power generation on a smartphone, tablet or computer.
‘The introduction of the new AC solar module to the U.S. market reflects LG's significant ongoing R&D investments in solar technology and exemplifies LG's commitment to continued leadership in the renewable energy field,’ says Ellen Kim, senior vice president of energy solutions at LG Electronics USA.
