Ligitek Electronics is building a new facility at the Shulin Datong Technology Park in Taiwan that will help double the company's solar module capacity from 35 MWp to 60-70 MWp by 2009.
The company's module production is performed through its Ligitek Photovoltaic subsidiary, in which Ligitiek recently increased its investment capital to NT $210 million. Ligitek is also aiming to bring in investment from Japan-based Marubeni, with a goal of Marubeni taking a 3% to 5% stake in Ligitek Photovoltaic.
