LiteSentry, a developer of online inspection systems for flat glass, has introduced the Osprey HR (high-resolution) distortion measurement system, which is designed to meet the quality standards of the photovoltaic module industry.
The unit dynamically measures distortion over the range of -550 millidiopters (mD) to +550 mD, with an accuracy of +/- 20 mDs, the company says. The Osprey HR has recently been installed at First Solar and Cardinal Industries.
