Locus Energy Releases SolarOS Monitoring Platform

Locus Energy has released a redesigned version of its solar monitoring platform, rebranded as SolarOS, for residential and commercial solar PV installations.

The new release includes a refreshed site interface, as well as a number of other enhancements, the company says. The main dashboard of SolarOS has a new look and feel, along with an improved alert summary. Users now have a new interface for setting up PV systems and managing existing sites, and each system now has a visual site map that displays how meters, inverters, weather stations, combiners/recombiners and arrays work together.

SolarOS also facilitates performance-yield analysis across a fleet of systems, Locus Energy says. Yield data for all systems is calculated in real time and is made available through email alerts and spreadsheet downloads. Additionally, a new reports module allows users to select systems and either graph or download performance data quickly.
