The Schmid Group, based in Germany says Prof. Dr. Ralf Ludemann has joined the company to lead its energy storage business unit and serve as an advisor to PV-related business units.
The energy storage division, which was under the temporary direction of Frank Fuchs, is expected to be a key new business for the Schmid Group. Ludemann will focus on bringing the segment into new markets and expanding its product portfolio.
Ludemann previously worked at SolarWorld for the past 10 years and has been active in the PV business for more than 20 years.
