Magnetek Inc., a manufacturer of digital power and motion control systems, has released the E-Force Solar, an inverter for grid-tied photovoltaic systems. Available in 500 kW and 1 MW models, the E-Force Solar is designed for commercial and utility-scale solar applications.
The product is based on Magnetek's E-Force Wind inverter platform, which has over 150 MW installed in the U.S. According to the company, the E-Force inverter offers high power density in a compact size for application flexibility, and its rugged design ensures maximum reliability.
