Marathon Special Products, a provider of electrical/electronic components, has released a new series of Underwriters Laboratories (UL)-listed Power Blocks. The 135 Series Power Distribution Blocks feature high current carrying capacity (up to 950A), a wide range of wiring options, a hinge cover and suitability for UL508A Control Panel Applications with a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) up to 100,000 SYM Amps.
The 135 Series Power Distribution Blocks comply with the National Electric Code for use in service equipment. Because the blocks are UL-listed and service equipment rated, they are suitable for applications where system components must be connected in the field, the company says. Applications include installation in wireways, junction boxes, termination boxes and similar applications.Â
