Marathon Special Products, a provider of electrical/electronic components, has released a new addition to its enclosed power block line.
In addition to featuring enhanced touch-proof protection, the new enclosed power distribution blocks are UL-listed and designed to meet the new spacing requirements with elevated SCCR ratings per UL508A and NEC2005, the company notes. The products also feature a broader wire range (3/0-14) than earlier models and a modular design that allows snapping of any number of poles together.
‘Marathon's power distribution blocks have the unique distinction of being UL-compliant when used with flexible stranded wires and are also UL-approved for multiple wires per opening,’ says Bruce Golen, senior application engineer. ‘These two added benefits provide customers significant flexibility.’
