Marathon Special Products, a provider of electrical/electronic components, says it has reduced its lead times. Marathon's new standard lead times range from five working days to seven working days on most products that are not currently stocked.
Concurrent to reduction in lead times, Marathon has also announced the availability of increased inventory of ship-from-stock products. Marathon's products are used in both combiner boxes and inverters for solar power applications.
‘Under the current economic environment, reduced lead times and availability of products on shelf are critical to our customers to help reduce costs and run their operations in an efficient manner,’ says Vijay Chahar, general manager and vice president at Marathon Special Products.
