Martifer Solar USA has changes to its executive leadership, effective this month. The company's board of directors has named Roland Kiser CEO. Kiser joined the company in November 2012 as chief financial officer and succeeds Raffi Agopian, who will become chairman of the board of directors.
In addition, the board appointed Klaus Bernhart chief financial officer. Bernhart has more than 35 years of international experience in both commercial and investment banking in Europe and the U.S.
Internationally, Martifer Solar S.A. has appointed Pedro Gomes Pereira the new regional head for North America. He will be responsible for all group activities involving Martifer Solar USA and Martifer Solar Canada and will be a member of the board of the Martifer-Silverado Fund 1, the San Francisco-based utility-scale solar joint venture with Silverado Power.
Ricardo Abecassis has been appointed vice president of development for Martifer Solar's work with the Martifer-Silverado Fund 1. Abecassis has been with Martifer Group since 2007.
