Martifer Solar, a subsidiary of Martifer SGPS, has completed two photovoltaic projects in Spain totaling 4.26 MW.
The company was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the projects, which comprise a 3.8 MW photovoltaic park in Lorca, Murcia, and a 460 kW rooftop installation in Toledo. Martifer will now manage operations and maintenance services for both installations.
The Lorca plant, owned by third parties, occupies an area of 4.5 hectares and consists of about 15,800 modules installed on Mprime's solar trackers. The 460 kW installation was built on the rooftop of the Prilux Group facilities with more than 1,800 modules installed on fixed structures.
