Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates-based solar integrator Enviromena Power System has completed the Masdar 10 MW solar power plant, which the company says is the largest grid-connected solar system in the Middle East and North Africa.
The 212,000 square-meter solar system includes 87,777 photovoltaic modules and will produce 17,500 MWh of energy each year. Masdar City is the world's first carbon-neutral, zero-waste city fully powered by renewable energy.
