MCG Management Acquires 12 MW Solar Farm From Q-Cells

Q-Cells SE says it has sold the Zerbst II solar power plant – which has a total output of 12 MW – to Berlin-based investment group MCG Management Capital Group. The turnkey handover of the solar electricity installation will take place shortly, according to the companies. MCG will add the solar park to its own investment portfolio.

Q-Cells began building the solar park, which is located on the site of a former military air base near the city of Zerbst in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, in May. Just over six weeks later, the park was connected to the grid by energy supplier E.ON Avacon. Zerbst II is part of a large solar park with a combined capacity of approximately 46 MW.
