Dennis P. McGuirk is resigning as president and CEO of IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries to accept a new position as president and CEO of SEMI, an industry association serving the microelectronic, display and photovoltaic industries. His last day at IPC will be November 1.
Under McGuirk's leadership, IPC expanded to include more than 3,000 members, of which almost 40% are located outside the U.S. IPC now maintains offices in Stockholm, Moscow, Bangalore, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Beijing, and it has 75 training centers in the U.S., Asia and Europe.
