Solar integrator Mercury Solar Systems Inc. and its sister company, Energy Enterprises Inc., both subsidiaries of Aquus Energy Inc., have recently finished the installation of several solar systems in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Recent commercial solar installations include a 200 kW system at HoneyCell Inc. in Shelton, Conn. The company says this installation is the first commercial solar system in Shelton. In addition, an 85.5 kW system at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien is the first solar installation on a country club in the state of Connecticut.
The company also recently completed a 50 kW solar system on each of the upper and lower school campus buildings at Solomon Schechter Upper & Lower Schools in Hartsdale, N.Y., a 21 kW system at the Bella Vista Holiday Spa in Westtown, N.Y., and a 6.4 kW system at the Larchmont Department of Public Works in the village of Larchmont, N.Y.
In New Jersey, Mercury Solar Systems recently completed a 38.6 kW solar system at the corporate headquarters of CPI Cos. in Voorhees. Guardian Self Storage, located in Tuckahoe, installed a 35.2 kW solar energy system at its facility, representing the first solar installation in Tuckahoe. Mercury Solar Systems also installed a 26.4 kW system at A.E. Stone in Pleasantville.
