Solar integrator Mercury Solar Systems Inc. has joined with SRECTrade to offer its customers a way to sell solar renewable energy credits (SRECs). SRECTrade is the largest monthly auction for SRECs in the U.S., serving customers in over 15 states, according to the companies.
Under the terms of the partnership, SRECTrade will service the SREC trading needs of Mercury Solar Systems' customers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. The service includes filing the state certification paperwork, registering the customer with SRECTrade's EasyREC service and managing all SREC transactions. Customers will be able to track their production and account history online.
