Tuebingen, Germany-based photovoltaic system integrator MHH Solartechnik GmbH and Solar Frontier have entered into a strategic sales partnership under which MHH Solartechnik will sell Solar Frontier's copper indium selenium (CIS) modules in Germany starting in March. The possible supply volume of the multiyear contract will exceed 100 MW.
The CIS modules that Solar Frontier will sell to MHH Solartechnik will be produced at Solar Frontier's new manufacturing plant in Miyazaki, Japan. This plant is expected to have a capacity of 900 MW, Solar Frontier says.
