MiaSole, a manufacturer of copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin-film PV modules, has appointed Michael Povlin director of sales and marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This appointment emphasizes MiaSole's continued strategy to expand its business globally and to execute on strategic international partnerships.
Povlin has more than 20 years of international management experience at high-tech companies. He previously served as the director of sales and marketing for the EMEA region at Abound Solar. Prior to joining Abound Solar, Povlin held management positions at Integrated Device Technology, Tensilicia and Intel.Â
