MicroScreen, a South Bend, Ind.-based manufacturer of screens for printing on hybrid circuits and stencils for solder paste printing, has completed a new manufacturing facility dedicated to manufacturing screens for solar cell printing.
Contiguous to the current screen-making location, this new area quadruples the company's capacity, says MicroScreen. The climate-controlled facility is equipped with totally automated stretch tables, coating machines, drying ovens and exposure equipment. The building includes a separate inspection room and a photo lab for plotting film artwork.
MicroScreen maintains a complete inventory of both stainless steel and polyester mesh, both of which can be mounted at various angles, coated with emulsion and exposed with the customer's circuit design.
