Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA's photovoltaics division is providing high-efficiency solar panels for one of the world's largest solar projects at a winery. The 1.2 MW solar system installation at Constellation Wines' Gonzales Winery in Monterey County, Calif., will cover approximately 170,000 square feet of the main winery warehouse roof.
The installation will include 6,358 Mitsubishi Electric 185 W solar panels and can generate 1,176,230 W of DC power. The project is being financed and built by Pacific Power Management and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
