Monrovia, Calif.-based Miyachi Unitek has released the fully integrated LMC1 laser marker motion package, which enables any combination of linear or rotary motion control in up to four axes.
Automated functions – such as serialization, step-and-repeat or marking around a cylinder – can be easily programmed utilizing the product's automation build function, Miyachi Unitek says. Standard stage sizes for single linear or combined xyz axes range from six inches to 18 inches. Two rotary options are available: direct-drive, which is suitable for banding applications, or precision rotary, which is suitable for high-resolution marking.
