Monrovia, Calif.-based Miyachi Unitek, a designer and manufacturer of resistance welding and reflow soldering power supplies, has opened its Midwest Laser Applications Lab.
The new facility enables Miyachi Unitek to work with customers and prospects to conduct sample evaluations and produce applications reports outlining results attained utilizing its range of Nd:YAG and fiber laser welders and markers, the company says. The lab will be managed and staffed by Andrew Dodd, senior sales engineer, and Wes Buckley, laser and systems applications engineer.Â
