Pacific Power Renewables and Motech Americas have completed a 177.7 kW at the Aerospace Museum of California in McClellan, Calif., that is expected to serve the facility's entire electricity demand.

The installation consists of 756 roof-mounted Motech 235 W modules that produce an annual output of 265,430 kWh. Testing has shown that the installation is producing electricity at 111% of the expected kilowatt-hour rate, the companies say.

‘Going solar was a strategic move for the Aerospace Museum of California,’ says Roxanne Yonn, the museum's executive director. ‘We save on energy costs, and we can use this as an educational tool for our students.’
