MP2 Capital, a San Francisco-based developer, financier and operator of solar projects, has commissioned a 445 kW solar photovoltaic array in Winsted, Conn.
MP2 Capital has entered into a power purchase agreement to sell all of the electricity generated by the system to the Regional School District No. 7 for a period of 20 years. This project was made possible by a grant from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
The system, which sits atop multiple rooftops of the school district, was built by groSolar and is composed of 1,937 PV panels from Canadian Solar.
