Massachusetts-based My Generation Energy has completed the 900 kW Sippican Community Solar Garden in Marion, Mass.
My Generation began construction on the site in January. The installation features more than 3,200 Enphase C250 micro-inverters and LG Solar photovoltaic modules integrated onto a Unirac ground-mount system. Enphase says the installation is the largest array in North America to date featuring its C250 system.
The net-metered Sippican Community Solar Garden facility is expected to generate over 1,200 MWh of electricity per year. Suntility Electric LLC, a renewable energy services company, and My Generation operate and maintain the array as well as manage its net-metering credit allocations to the cooperative.
